    You have three blocks below each other in the footer, the top one is empty, the middle one is the social media links and the bottom one the theme credits. How do I remove the top two safely?

    Hi,

    For these two areas are not displayed go to Appearance > Customize> Custom CSS and paste the following code:

    /* Widgets area */
    .wrapper-widget-area-footer{display:none;}

    /* Social icons */
    .social-icon-wrapper-pie{display:none;}

    /* Horizontal lines */
    hr.hr-oscura{display:none;}

    Important: The top area contains 3 areas of widgets (Ribosome: Footer left, Ribosome: Footer center, Ribosome: Footer right). If you hide the top area the widgets are not displayed.

    Regards.

    Hi,

    The last two blocks do not change color due to the type of contentinfo quotes. Use the following:

    .wrapper-widget-area-footer{
    background-color: #00BCD5;}
    footer [role = “contentinfo”]{
    background-color: #00BCD5;}

    To hide the social icons in the footer use:

    .social-icon-wrapper-foot {display: none;}

    Regards.
