    Hello,

    first: sorry for my bad Englisch – but my Spanish is even worse!

    I have a few questions concerning the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

    Because of the GDPR I want to load the google fonts locally. I downloaded my fonts from google-webfonts-helper (https://google-webfonts-helper.herokuapp.com/fonts) and hosted the files on my server. Google-webfonts-helper created a CSS, what i inclued in the theme (Design -> edit additional CSS). If I now interrupt the connection to google fonts (with the plugin Clearfy 1.2.1), then the desired font no longer appears (only the standard sans-serif font). What I make wrong? Is there another Name for the font necessairy?

    Greets,
    Tobias

    Here the CSS-Code from google-webfonts-helper:

    /* merriweather-sans-regular – latin */
    @font-face {
    font-family: ‘Merriweather Sans’;
    font-style: normal;
    font-weight: 400;
    src: url(‘../fonts/merriweather-sans-v9-latin-regular.eot’); /* IE9 Compat Modes */
    src: local(‘Merriweather Sans’), local(‘MerriweatherSans-Regular’),
    url(‘../fonts/merriweather-sans-v9-latin-regular.eot?#iefix’) format(’embedded-opentype’), /* IE6-IE8 */
    url(‘../fonts/merriweather-sans-v9-latin-regular.woff2’) format(‘woff2’), /* Super Modern Browsers */
    url(‘../fonts/merriweather-sans-v9-latin-regular.woff’) format(‘woff’), /* Modern Browsers */
    url(‘../fonts/merriweather-sans-v9-latin-regular.ttf’) format(‘truetype’), /* Safari, Android, iOS */
    url(‘../fonts/merriweather-sans-v9-latin-regular.svg#MerriweatherSans’) format(‘svg’); /* Legacy iOS */
    }

    Hi,

    I’m sorry, but I can not help you, it’s not something related to the theme. The theme uses fonts from Google Fonts and this is how it is developed. Looking for an alternative method to this behavior is something that is outside the support of the theme. I’m really sorry.

    Regards.

    Hi,

    in which file does the link to the Google Fonts take place? Not in “style.css”, or?

    Hi,

    There is no direct link to a Google Fonts font. The link to Google Fonts is created dynamically with a function to add the selected font in the corresponding option of the Customizer. This function (zerogravity_get_font_url()) is found in the functions.php file. Subsequently, the function zgp_personalizacion_css() (found in the file inc/zg-pro-customization.php) applies the font imported from Google Fonts.

    Regards.
