    Hi Jean,

    When you upgrade to a higher version, the customization of the theme is not lost, unless the modifications have been made by editing theme files. The customization of the theme made with the customizer is not lost.

    Hi,

    Go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste the following:

    .excerpt-wrapper p a {
        font-size: 24px;
        line-height: 1;

    You must change font-size to your liking.

    Hi,

    You are using small images as featured image. Featured images must have a minimum size of 576×432 pixels.

    Yes, the plugin is Regenerate Thumbnails.

    Hi,

    In order for images to be displayed correctly in widgets, featured images must have a minimum size of 576×432 pixels.

    If the image thumbnails are not displayed correctly (because VioMag is not the first theme used) you will need to regenerate the thumbnails with a free plugin as Regenerate Thumbnails.

    Regards.

    Hi,

    The best way is to hide it using CSS. Go to Appearance > Customize> Additional CSS and paste the following:

    body.category .archive-header{
    	display:none;
    }

    Regards.

    Hi,

    That depends on AdSense, not the theme. AdSense does not always show ads: If your site is new, or does not have many visits, AdSense may not show ads.

    Hi,

    I visited your blog and I do not see any problems. Just that you should regenerate the thumbnails as indicated in Appearance > Customize > First Steps.

    The widgets are shown where you place them.

    Hola,

    con todo lo que me has comentado, el shortcode funciona perfectamente. El problema está en que el archivo css galu-sc-msg.css de tu sitio no contiene la regla .mensaje-idea, lo que indicaría que todavía está cacheado el archivo antiguo o que has olvidado actualizarlo.

    Saludos.

    Hi,

    The first plugin you tell me I have not tried, but Metaslider works correctly in both widget areas and in the content of the posts.

    Hi,

    I have visited your site and the widget is displayed correctly. Anyway, as I said earlier, widgets always display correctly when featured images have a minimum size of 576×432 pixels.

    Hi,

    go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste the following (by changing the color codes you want):

    	background-color:#eaeaea;

    Hi,

    The header image can not be changed on mobile devices. As for changing the color of the menu on mobile devices, you can paste the following CSS in Appearance> Customize> Additional CSS (by changing the color codes you want):

    #menu-movil{
    	background-color:#eaeaea;
    }
    .menu-movil-enlaces li a{
    	color:#444444 !important;
    	border-bottom: 1px solid #cccccc;
    }
    .submenu-colapsado:before{
    	color:#444444;
    	border-left:1px solid #cccccc;
    }
    .social-icon-wrapper-movil a{
    	color:#444444;
    }

    Regards.

    Hi,

    Under normal conditions the theme correctly displays the social icons. When it are shown as squares it is usually due to the configuration of the server or to some plugin. Do tests by disabling plugins or cleaning the browser cache. I can not help you more with this question. And, please, put links to your site, since the images provide little or no information for some issues.

    Regards.

    in reply to: Centered text in footer #1235

    Juan de la Cruz

    Hi,

    The text widget is a native WordPress widget, not the theme. The question you ask me is to use WordPress, not the theme. However, I mention that, by default, the text widget aligns the text to the left. To center the text you must use html and apply CSS styles to it. For example wrap the text you want to show in a div container, something like:

    <div style = "text-align: center"> Here your text </ div>

    Regards.
